Rice County Landfill Temporarily Closed
The Rice County Solid Waste Facility is currently closed to all vehicles that need to access the landfill area so emergency responders can tend to a piece of equipment which caught fire shortly before 3:00 pm today (Monday).
All staff and visitors are safe, and first responders are on scene.
An updated will be posted to the Rice County Facebook page when the landfill area reopens.
