Each week I’ll share a picture and a little bit about a pet that is available for adoption and waiting to find a good home. If you’re thinking of adding a pet to your home, pet adoption can be a very rewarding way to do so. Check out this week’s Pet of the Week and then check back next week to see a new furry friend looking for a fur-ever home.

Meet Julia, a 2-year-old black lab mix. She is a nice-sized girl at 55 pounds. Julia is friendly, energetic and loves to play. She is athletic and would be able to jump over a short fence. She gets along well with other dogs.

Julia is spayed and is current on her vaccinations. She is crate- and house-trained. If you’re interested in learning more about Julia, or about another pet available for adoption, visit pawsfirst.petfinder.com or facebook.com/pawsfirstrescue.
