Medford graduate Brent Yule spent a short time on the Owatonna High School football coaching staff under head coach Jeff Williams. He also spent several seasons with Northfield and longtime coach Bubba Sullivan. Yule says he learned plenty of each coach as he now implements his own style and approach as a first-year head coach for the Raiders.

Northfield is 2-2 in 2021 after earning just two wins combined the previous two seasons. Owatonna plays at the Raiders Friday, October 1 at 7 pm with 6:40 pregame coverage on AM 1390 KRFO / 94.7 FM. The Huskies are also 2-2. Each team is going with a first-year starter at quarterback. OHS will put sophomore Jacob Ginskey behind center. The Raiders go with junior Soren Richardson.
