RE: Emergency Closure CSAH 34 (26th Street NW) at Union

Pacific Railroad Crossing

The Union Pacific Railroad will be closing CSAH 34 (26th Street NW) at 8:30 a.m. this morning. This closure is necessary to allow them to perform emergency repairs to fortify the railroad embankment to prevent major damage to the Railroad and adjacent properties from the floodwaters.

This closure is expected to be in effect through 7:00 pm today.

Please see attached map for detour route. For east bound 26t Street detour via CSAH 45 (State Ave) and for west bound 26th street detour via Cedar Ave.
