New Augmented Reality will Keep Kids Entertained While You Shop

How often do you take your kids shopping with you and just a couple minutes in they're already driving you nuts because they're bored?

If you shop at Walmart, they may have just helped you out!

Walmart now has a new augmented reality game that can be played on a smartphone called Santa's Sleigh Ride. As you go up and down the aisles doing your shopping your kids can be entertained by taking photos with the cool filters and playing games in 9 special holiday aisles.

It's free and apparently really simple (I haven't tried it yet, but that's what they claim!). Check out the demo video from 360 Events at Walmart's YouTube page:

You can play games with different characters like Chester Cheetah, Tony the Tiger, and Paw Patrol. Seems like it could be pretty fun! Then again, I wonder how much the aisles would get back-up because of people playing this game.
