
MVCA Week One Volleyball Polls
The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association first volleyball polls of the season have been released.
There were no changes at the top of each class with Minneota, Hawley, Marshall, and Lakeville South sitting at number one in each class.
The listings of the Top Ten in each class are below:
Class A

2. Mayer Lutheran

4. Mabel-Canton
5. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton
6. Canby
7. Ada-Borup-West

9. Wabasso
10. Kittson County Central
Also Receiving Votes: Spring Grove, MACCRAY, Sacred Heart.
Teams appearing on one ballot are Alden-Conger, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart, Kenyon-Wanamingo
Class AA
1. Hawley
2. Southwest Christian

4. Belle Plaine
5. Rush City
6. Caledonia
7. Winona Cotter

Also Receiving Votes: New Prague, Rogers, Champlin Park
The only Big Nine Conference team mentioned is Northfield, receiving one vote in Class AAA.
In recent years the Gopher Conference has been well represented , but only one member, Kenyon-Wanamingo, received one vote in Class A.
The South Suburban Conference continues to dominate with the top three Class AAAA spots in the poll and four of the top seven.
