MVCA Coaches Polls at Season Midway Point

The latest Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association (MVCA) rankings have been released.  It's hard to believe it is the midway point of the season.

The best teams have definitely proved they are the best in their respective classes.

All #1 teams are the same.  Minneota, Hawley, Marshall, and Chanhassen.

Kenyon-Wanamingo jumped into the top ten after defeating a very highly ranked Fillmore Central team in the Class A Volleyball Showcase  in Burnsville over the weekend.  They also played top ranked Minneota tough losing the second set 31-29 after falling 25-19 in the first set.

This week on Tuesday the Owatonna Huskies host the Fariault Falcons on KDHL +920 AM, 97.9 FM, Worldwide on FREE KDHL app.  Faribault is very young with freshman in their starting lineup.  Owatonna has two five set wins on KDHL this fall against Kasson-Mantorville and Farmington.  We will also have the Huskies match against Northfield at the end of the regular season.
