The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association says their last poll will be out next weekend.  That means playoffs are just around the corner.

In the latest rankings Faribault Bethlehem Academy moved up a notch in Class A probably due to their victory over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown last week.  The Cardinals are at Hayfield Tuesday then head to the Chaska Tournament this weekend.

Kenyon-Wanamingo did well at a tournament in Apple Valley over the weekend losing just one match to a South Suburban Conference team (Rosemount)  They dropped the first set 25-19 before losing the second 25-14.

The Knights had wins over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, Orono and Norwood-Young America.

The Knights host Waterville-Elysian-Morristown tonight with the winner ending up alone in the second spot in the Gopher Conference.  BA is currently unbeaten in the league.

In Class AA Cannon Falls remains anchored at #3 behind Southwest Christian and Jackson County Central.

Section 1AA Caledonia is still at #7.  They are in the same Section with Cannon Falls.

Class AAA Marshall is on top followed by #2 Kasson-Mantorville (they defeated previously unbeaten Stewartville).  #3 is Stewartville, #4 Byron.  So three of the top four ranked teams in Minnesota in Class AAA are from the Hiawatha Valley League.

New Prague is #8.  Mankato West in Also Receiving Votes.

Class AAAA the biggest schools Wayzata is on top and remains undefeated.  #2 Eagan, #3 is Eden Prairie up from #5.  Chaska is #4, Shakopee #5.  Lakeville North #7, Northfield slipped from #9 to #10 after dropping their first Big Nine Conference match in nearly 5 years at Rochester Mayo last week.

Prior Lake received votes but did not crack the top ten despite defeating Northfield in a tournament over the weekend.  The Lakers host Lakeville North Tuesday night.
