Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan Makes Stop in Owatonna
We're just 64 days away from the 2025 Minnesota Twins season opener against the Cardinals in St. Louis, and yesterday the Twins Winter Caravan stopped in Owatonna.
It was opening day of Owatonna's 2025 Bold & Cold Winter Festival, and the plan was for snow sculpting and a stop by the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan downtown in Central Park. Mother Nature had another plan.
The reality was no snow sculpting for obvious reasons, but the Twins showed up and brought hopes of summer to all in attendance.

Each offseason the Minnesota Twins send two brigades of the Winter Caravan trekking across the state, bonding with fans, taking selfies, signing autographs, and talking baseball for the upcoming season.
Yesterday's stop in Owatonna's brought Kris Atteberry, Glen Perkins, Brooks Lee, Louie Varland, and TC Bear to Central Park.
Fortunately for fans and members of the Twins organization, the temperature was in the low 30s, instead of the -30 wind chills of the past few days.
