The Minnesota Softball Coaches Association came out with their first rankings of the 2016 season this week.

Here are those rankings.

Softball, like baseball, has expanded to four classes.

Class A

  1. New Ulm Cathedral
  2. Mankato Loyola and Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg
  3. West Lutheran
  4. BOLD
  5. New York Mills
  6. Sleepy Eye St. Mary's
  7. Red Lake Falls
  8. Sebeka
  9. Hayfield and Randolph

Other's receiving votes: Badger-Greenbush-Middle RIver, Edgerton/Southwest Christian, NCE/UH, Cherry, Legacy Christian Academy, Brandon-Evansville, Blooming Prairie, Springfield, Maranatha Christian Academy, Browerville-Eagle Valley
