Margie Frances Arndt, 97, Waseca

Margie Frances Arndt, age 97, of Waseca passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Foxdale Memory Center in Waseca.

Born on March 3, 1927 in Waseca County, Margie was the daughter of Arnold and Mary (Sommers) Arndt. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. She graduated from Waseca High School. Following her education, she worked for EF Johnson for over forty-two years. She also worked part time at the Senior Citizens Center. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca.

Margie is survived by her niece and nephews, David Arndt of Mankato, Delores (Donald) Dierking of Medford, Darold (Irene) Arndt of Gilbert, AZ, Donald (JoAnne) Arndt of Woodbury; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Mary Arndt; siblings, Mabel Schoenrock, Gertrude Kopischke, Walter Arndt, and Elmer Arndt; and fiancé, Henry “Hank” Anderson.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
