It was a week ago when the grain markets closed on Friday we were about on our highs and things looked very good. Then Monday both corn and beans saw a hard selloff! By the end of the week corn was back challenging the highs and beans had recovered a fair amount too. Beginning on Monday morning if you were to suggest December corn could close the week Friday up around $4.04 you would think it would be a really good week.

Beans on the charts are more in the middle of the trading range. That's not bad but the bean charts do not look as good as the corn charts right now. The big news this week was the dry weather delaying planting in Brazil and exports to China. Chine continues to buy huge amounts of soybeans and a fair amount of corn too.
