The second annual Minnesota Youth Livestock Expo (MYLE) will be held in Jackson on the Jackson County Fairgrounds and in Fairmont on the Martin County Fairgrounds. It is open to all youth ages 6-21 years old on January 1, 2021, not just 4-H and FFA members. Youth can enter multiple animals in each species. The first MYLE was put together last year so youth could show livestock as the Minnesota State Fair and almost all County Fairs were canceled.

The MYLE was so successful that show organizers brought it back this year early as kind of a warm up or practice for all the fairs and Minnesota State Fair that are back this summer. MYLE show Coordinator Kent Thiesse said if a business or individuals would like to help support awards or prizes go to the website: www.youthlivestockexpo.com. Also tomorrow June 8, 2021 there will be an online auction with all kinds of things you can purchase to help support the MYLE.

The deadline for the MYLE Swine Show is Thursday June 10, 2021 and the other species June 15, 2021. You can also enter livestock on the same website: www.mnyouthlivestockexpo.com.
