Lakeville Man Charged In Woman’s Disappearance

A Lakeville man was charged after he gave information to North Dakota authorities that lead to the discovery of human remains.

The Cass County Sheriff's office said the 51-year-old Timothy Barr gave them the location that was related to the search for 45-year-old Michelle Newell of Vadnais Heights, who has been missing since August. She is presumed dead by the authorities.

Informants have said Barr hit Newell with his car, killed her and then disposed of her body.

The medical examiner is working to determine the identification of the remains that were found and cause of death.
