Summer and music festivals go hand in hand, and a fairly new, but fun and growing festival in southern Minnesota is the Prior Lake Rotary’s Lakefront Music Festival! Scheduled to take place July 14 and 15, the lineup for the Lakefront Music Festival this year is sure to have something for everyone, with one night featuring rock music and the next being devoted to country artists. This week, the headliner for the country night was announced!

The Lakefront Music Fest announced that David Nail, known for singing songs such as "Whatever She's Got," "Let It Rain" and "Red Light" will be performing at the festival. The country headliner will be Billy Currington, who is known for songs like "That's How Country Boys Roll," "People Are Crazy," "It Don't Hurt Like it Used To," "Good Directions" and "Pretty Good At Drinkin' Beer." Check out videos for both artists below!

Bring a camp chair or blanket and settle in to see two great nights of music. In 2012, the music fest was expanded to include two nights of music, and two years ago, more than 20,000 people attended. Proceeds from the Lakefront Music Fest benefit the Prior Lake Rotary Club and their mission, and additionally benefit YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, and Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools: Laker Athletic Booster Club and Patrons of the Arts & Activities.
