Rejoice No Shoes Nation! Kenny Chesney has officially announced the date when his "Here And Now 2022 Stadium Tour" will make a stop at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

This is the third time Chesney has attempted to bring his latest tour to Minnesota. The originally titled "Chillaxification Tour" was supposed to be at U.S. Bank Stadium on May 2, 2020. However, the pandemic made that date impossible so that show was initially rescheduled to June 5, 2021. Unfortunately, lingering pandemic related issues made it impossible for Kenny to properly plan a full stadium tour in 2021. He addressed the 2021 tour issues, stating:

“We have waited for so long, I can’t play knowing I would disappoint a portion of No Shoes Nation who wouldn’t be able to get into the stadiums and the amphitheaters,” Chesney says. “There’s no way around that this year. As much I hate postponing further, I would hate telling people who waited we won’t be able to let them come due to capacity restrictions. That’s just not fair.”

Ultimately, he decided to push the entire tour out to 2022. Finally, we have a new date for Northland members of No Shoes Nation to look forward to.

Kenny Chesney will bring his "Here And Now 2022 Stadium Tour" to U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 6, 2022. While the rest of the lineup hasn't been finalized, it will be announced once it becomes official.

In the past, Kenny has brought the likes of Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion along for the ride, so it would seem safe to assume he'll put together a great show.

U.S. Bank Stadium says that all current tickets will be honored for the rescheduled show date. If you can attend the rescheduled date and you love where your seats are, you won't have to do anything but show up on August 6, 2022.

Beginning on March 22, patrons unable to attend the rescheduled shows may request a refund at the original point of purchase.
