John Says Donald Trump Is His 11th President

My grandson, Kayden, who just recently turned a year old, is already on his second president even though he has no clue yet who the president is or what he does.

I thought about Friday morning as I was watching the inauguration how many presidents there have been since I was born.

John F. Kennedy was president for the first year of my life until  he was assassinated. Here he is with the late John Glenn and Lyndon Johnson, who was president from 1963-69.

Richard Nixon was president from 1969-74.

Gerald Ford, shown below with Henry Kissinger, was president from 1974-77.

Jimmy Carter was president from 1977-81. It was neat to see him there at the inauguration given his advanced age and health issues he has had.

Ronald Reagan was president from 1981-89.

George H.W. Bush was president from 1989-93. I still think if he would have gotten Suddam Hussein he would have been re-elected. I hope he gets well soon, and Barbara also.

Bill Clinton was president from 1993-2001.

George W. Bush was president from 2001-09.

Barack Obama was president from 2009-17.

And now Donald Trump, 2017-??.

I hope to be around to see a few more Presidents yet.

So far Reagan was my favorite.
