
Joann Fabrics Closing at Least a Dozen Minnesota Stores
I know, I know; they officially changed their name to just 'Joann,' they will forever be 'Joann Fabrics' to me.
The chain actually formerly known at Joann Fabrics & Crafts filed for bankruptcy for the second time in a year last month which includes a plan to close about 500 of its roughly 800 stores nationwide; including at least twelve here in Minnesota.
The company first declared bankruptcy in April of 2024.

Fabric, crafts, and yarn lovers rejoice; stores in Roseville, Edina, Minnetonka, Maplewood, Brainerd, Duluth, Alexandria, and Rochester are not currently slated to close in this round of shuttering.
