Four of America’s Busiest Restaurants are in Illinois
Being on this list is a good thing, right?
Honest question because I tend to think restaurants that are always busy make it impossible for folks like me who don't plan things out months ahead of time to enjoy a meal at their place.
That also makes me think about service and quality of food when a place is super busy. Like, can this always busy restaurant just phone it in and get by resting on their laurels?
Probably not, based on the ratings for each of these four restaurants you have to believe busy equals excellent.
Here are the four restaurants featured by Food Republic in their 10 Busiest Restaurants in the US:
Alinea
This stunner with three Michelin Stars constantly reimagines its modernist menu, so there's almost always something new to tickle your taste buds.
Alinea is located at 1723 North Halsted Street in Chicago
Gibson's Italia
Gibsons Italia invites you to sink your teeth into their premium Angus beef, as well as other dishes full of classic Italian flavors, and feast your eyes upon the skyline in the heart of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Gibson's Italia is at 233 North Canal Street
Gibson's Bar & Steakhouse
The atmosphere is as welcoming as the warm cherry pie ($14.25 on its own, but you should add a scoop of ice cream), and it's such a neighborhood icon that the menu even features a "local favorites" section.
Gibson's Bar & Steakhouse is located at 1028 North Rush Street in Chicago.
Maple & Ash Chicago
It seems that this steakhouse has been dead set on unstuff-ifying fine dining since it opened in 2015. Need proof? Please reference the Maple & Ash "I Don't Give A F*@k" tasting menu.
You can find Maple & Ash at 8 West Maple Street.
Of the four which would you choose? You seemingly can't go wrong, but can you get in? That's the real question.
