This place has two locations, and one is close to Rockford, so that's perfect for those of us who don't want to drive into Chicago for a side order.
Then again, these are probably the state's best fries so they might be worth the drive.
THE BEST FRIES IN ILLINOIS
LoveFood says we should cruise to DMK Burger Bar to try those delicious potato stalks.
They also say Guy Fieri "announced that these Parmesan and Truffle Fries were some of the best he'd ever tasted. Anywhere."
That's high praise from someone who has had their fair share of fries. After all, Guy goes from city to city to sample food. I feel he's gone in on some fries at some point or another.
DMK BURGER BAR REVIEWS
Yelp Reviewers feel the same about the fries at DMK. Some say they recommend sharing the parmesan fries, with others calling them "very good" and "excellent."
DMK Burger Bar has two locations, 2954 North Sheffield in Chicago and 541 Oak Brook Center in Oak Brook.
There is a third open inside Soldier Field, which I believe is only accessible during events inside the arena.
