If you love boutiques as much as I do, you might want to sit down for this one. A wildly popular Minnesota boutique just dropped some big news on their socials… and honestly, this one stings.

After 15 years, they shared the heartbreaking update that they’ll be closing in the very near future. Not just one location, all of their remaining Minnesota shops are officially set to shut down.

Their message was simple, honest, and emotional:

“You showed up. You supported us. You made this a community, a friendship hub, a place where joy lived alongside trying on jeans (which has honestly never been done before.)

Their final day of business will be December 23rd. And starting now, they’ve launched a full-on Farewell Sale - everything 50% off and one last chance to shop, use up those gift cards, and say goodbye to a place that’s been part of so many closets.

I’m not sure how many stores they had at their peak, but they’ve been slowly shrinking for a while now. Last summer, a few locations closed, including Woodbury and my beloved Rochester spot, and now the remaining shops are following suit. And yes… of course, I’m talking about Primp!

Whether you were a longtime shopper, a “just popping in” person, or someone who always walked out with at least one thing you didn’t plan on buying, this boutique has been that reliable spot for cute sweaters, great dresses, and prices that didn’t make you sweat.

Endings like this hit a little harder during the holidays, but there’s still time to stop in, show some love, and give the boutique one last moment.

And yes… consider this your reminder to dig out those gift cards before they disappear into the sock drawer forever.
