Don’t Miss Unleash the SHE in Rochester at Their New Location

A popular race that's held every year in Minnesota is at a new location this spring! I'm excited about this year's event and the new location is going to be super fun so make sure to get signed up so you can join us.

The race is to support the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (or MOCA for short). It's also to show support for women who are dealing with ovarian cancer currently, survivors, and families who have been impacted by the disease.

It's called Unleash the SHE and I'm super excited to be emcee-ing the race in Rochester again! It'll be my third year emceeing. Every year it's amazing to see everyone come together to support this cause and to also support each other.

The races are coming up in Rochester on Saturday, April 27th, right around the corner, so you'll probably want to get registered sooner rather than later.

Unleash the SHE is always an impactful event but also super fun. They'll be hosting a women-only 5k (run or walk) and 10k (run only). There will also be a 'Support the SHE' 5k run or walk that's open to anyone. Plus, there's a Kid 1k run.

Registration for Unleash the SHE Rochester, Minnesota

Right now, registration costs either $35 or $38 depending on which event you sign up for. But that price is only good through Tuesday, April 9th.

After that, prices go up to $38 and $40 through Friday, April 19th. Then prices go up again to $40 and $45 through Thursday, April 25th. They say on their website that you're able to register at the door, too, but I'm sure the prices will be up again for day-of registration.

If you'd like to join us at this year's Unleash the SHE, you'd better get on it so you can get the best deal! Also, registration for the kids 1k run is free.

Whether you register before in advance or on the day of, we'd love for you to be there. Plus, you won't want to miss out on the fun we'll have at the new location.

Unleash the SHE New Rochester, Minnesota Location

The new location for this year's Unleash the SHE is Little Thistle! Check-in will begin at 7:30 AM on Saturday, April 27th. Check-in ends at 8:30 AM, so don't be late. Then everyone will join us at the starting line at 8:55 AM with the 5k and 10k runners taking off at 9 AM. Then the walkers will be shortly after them, starting at 9:20 AM.

There are a couple of sweet benefits to this year's race being at Little Thistle. 1) The course will take you around Cascade Lake, so you'll have an awesome view. And 2) you get a free drink after your run or walk from Little Thistle. A great way to reward your hard work and also to toast to all of those affected by ovarian cancer.
