Guy Fieri travels the country sampling all kinds of dishes, from local favorites to hidden gems, and several Minnesota restaurants have earned his stamp of approval.

He's the face of the Food Network, with popular shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and Guy's Grocery Games, and has filmed numerous episodes in Minnesota featuring iconic diners, a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, an incredible pizza shop, and a Cuban eatery.

Minnesota Restaurants That Guy Fieri Has Visited:

Guy recently went through the Triple D episode archives and released a list of his favorite burger joints in America. Only one Minnesota restaurant landed in the top 15.

Hamburgers are about as American as you can get when it comes to food. We love them!  According to PBS, our country eats “nearly 50 billion burgers per year,” which breaks down to three burgers per person each week.

Fieri has eaten a lot of them from joints all across the country and recently ranked the top 15 burgers featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Guy said, “The Nook is off the Hook” and recognized the St. Paul restaurant for serving one of the best burgers in the country.

The Nook even created a special burger in honor of Guy. The Guys Big Bite is a pepper Jack-stuffed burger with bacon and topped with roast beef and cheddar.

This restaurant was also recognized by The Daily Meal’s list of 101 Best Burgers in America, which included 3 Minnesota Restaurants. The Nook’s Nookie Supreme Burger was the top Minnesota burger on that list. It’s a double-decker cheeseburger with lettuce and special sauce, and it looks amazing.
