Each November and December, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train heads out on a journey through Canada and the United States with the goal of spreading holiday joy, raising funds, collecting food, and promoting awareness for local food banks in the communities it visits. The brightly decorated train will visit 25 Minnesota cities this holiday season. See the full schedule below.

During each stop, Canadian Pacific makes a donation to the local food bank and encourages guests to do the same while musicians entertain crowds by performing free concerts from the brightly decorated train's stage.

Since its inception in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $22.4 million and 5.15 million pounds of food for community food banks.

I'm excited to take my 9 and 7-year-old kids this year. You see, last year they started hearing about Santa on the school bus, and I have a feeling they'll hear even more of it this year. Unfortunately, this might be their last year of pure Christmas innocence, so I want to make it special. We're going to enjoy all the festive attractions

This holiday season, the Holiday Train is set to make appearances in 25 cities throughout Minnesota including Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Rochester. See the complete schedule below.
