Find Your Warm Weather Gear - Minnesota and Iowa Could See Snow This Weekend

It is time to find the winter coats, check and see if the boots and snowpants still fit, and matches for all of the gloves because the potential for bad weather is in front of us.  According to one of the latest posts by KTTC, we could see some accumulating snow as early as this weekend.

One of the long-range models is starting to hint at our first accumulating snow potential this weekend. Confidence is still low, but it's something worth watching. Long-Range Models Show Rochester, Minnesota, Could See Snow This Weekend

According to the forecast posted by the National Weather Service on Monday, November 3rd, they too are predicting a chance of snow for the Rochester area.

Saturday

A chance of rain and snow before 11am, then a chance of rain. Mostly cloudly, with a high near 45. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday Night

A slight chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Towns that could be impacted by snow this weekend include Byron, Stewartville, Kasson, Mantorville, Rochester, and others near the Southeast Minnesota/Iowa border.
