Every single day in Rochester, we have people traveling up and down Highway 52 for Mayo Clinic. In the midst of all of those vehicles coming and going for medical appointments, a few others are also on a very important journey - they are delivering meals to people in our community.

Meals of Wheels has been serving people in the Rochester area since 1972.  Today, about 100 to 150 different meals are served over the noon hour thanks to amazing volunteers.  While many believe that this service is just for those who are elderly, Meals on Wheels in the Rochester area serves anyone who needs access to a meal.

It's not just about the food though.  Meals on Wheels also serves provides the assurance of a daily check-in.  For loved ones who have concerns about their family members, this is a priceless benefit - almost as important as the meal itself.
