West Center St. to Close Between Broadway Ave. & 1st Ave. for Three Weeks Starting Monday
One block of Center St. West between Broadway Ave. and 1st Ave. will be closed in both directions.
The closure is to accommodate work on the deck of the Center St. Ramp that crosses over Center St.
Closing the road will allow crews working on the ramp the space needed to do their job safely and more efficiently, the news release says.
Officials say the road closure is expected to last for about three weeks, weather permitting.
Center St. Ramp Restoration
A multi-month closure of the Center St. Ramp started on March 23.
City officials said the closure is to accommodate necessary restoration work that will extend the useful life of the parking structure.

Officials said the location of the work and layout of the ramp prevents vehicles from circling the ramp in both directions.
The restoration work on the ramps is scheduled to wrap up in August.
