Kellogg, MN (KROC-AM News) - Reports indicate one person suffered severe injuries in a two-vehicle crash this morning in Wabasha County.

The State Patrol says an SUV and a Jeep Grand Cherokee collided on Highway 61 at the junction with Wabasha County Road 18 at Kellogg. The crash was reported around 11:40 AM.

According to the State Patrol, 72-year-old Kevin Christiansen of Kellogg was driving south on Highway 61 when his SUV collided with the northbound Jeep driven by 35-year-old Kara Talledge of St. Paul. Christiansen's injuries were described as life-threatening and he was initially transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Wabasha.

The State Patrol says the driver of the Jeep was also transported to the Wabasha hospital. Her injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
