Teenager Rescued From Sand Hole in Wabasha County

Kellogg, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in Wabasha County say a teenage boy is hospitalized in serious condition following a bizarre medical call Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a rural Kellogg property around 5:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call from a person who reported that the 14-year-old boy was stuck in a sand hole and covered in sand. The deputies rushed to the scene and started life-saving measures.
The Mayo One helicopter also responded to the scene and the teenager was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for further treatment.
Officials have not said how the 14-year-old got stuck in the sand hole and have not released his name.
