Responding officers learned Wolner was believed to be in possession of a firearm earlier in the day and that the gun was believed to still be in the residence, according to the news release.
Authorities subsequently obtained and executed a search warrant. Officers located two firearms that were in a backpack during the search, police say. Both guns did not have serial numbers, the news release says.
One of the guns was equipped with a switch, which is a device that converts a semi-automatic firearm into a fully automatic gun.
Details about the victim’s condition have not been released.
