
86-Year-Old Northfield Woman Dies From Injuries Suffered in Minnesota Crash
Northfield, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Northfield woman has died from injuries she suffered in a crash on a Minnesota highway earlier this week.

The State Patrol responded to the now deadly crash shortly after 11:30 Monday morning. Two vehicles were involved in the crash.
The fatality occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 3 and Honey Locust Dr. in Northfield.

State Patrol Reports Death of 86-Year-Old Northfield Woman from Injuries Suffered in Monday Morning Crash
A car turning from southbound Hwy. 3 onto Honey Locust Dr. and pick-up heading north on Hwy. 3 collided, the state crash report says. The Northfield woman was identified as the driver of the car.
The updated crash report indicates the State Patrol learned of her death on Wednesday. Her name is scheduled to be released on Friday afternoon.
23-year-old Taylor Margaret Thomas of Faribault was identified as the pick-up driver. She was taken to a hospital in Northfield with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Thomas was buckled up and not under the influence of alcohol, according to the state crash report.
The Northfield Police Department and Rice County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
