Today – Meet Stevie at the TCHS & Check Out the Paws & Pumpkins Event

It's today!  It's the Paws and Pumpkins event going on at the Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud.  The event runs this afternoon from 4pm to 6pm - perfect time to go right after work.

THERE IS A FUN EVENT THIS AFTERNOON AT TCHS

This event will be so fun!  Bring your pet in for a Halloween photo contest - dress your pet in their best Halloween attire.  Plus there will be some free stuff, and micro chipping and also spin the wheel for deep discounts on the adoption fees.  This is all thanks to a Subaru Loves Pets/ASPCA grant. There will also be vendors including Kelly Cordes from the WWJO 98.1 morning show, Oh FUR Cute Pet Mobile Grooming, Ahta Cakes, and Happy Paws Bakery.

While you are there, take a look at today's featured adoptable pet of the week.  Stevie needs a forever home, and yours might just be the right place.  The best way to have a meet and greet with Stevie is to as to see her outside of her kennel, dogs are always happier when they are not in their kennels.  You can see the "real her".

TCHS

Stevie is just over a year old and is a solid medium/large dog. She weighs in at 54 pounds, and might need a minute to warm up to you.  She's a little shy.  If you have a resident cat, she seems to be ok with them, however, she isn't too sure how to interact with them.  So a slow meet and greet with your current pet would be a good idea.

Stevie also loves attention, and loves to play with her toys.  She will play fetch and loves her treats.  Doesn't everyone?  She is not a fan of bath time or car rides. Just something to be aware of.

HOW TO MEET AN ADOPTABLE PET AND/OR TO PUT ON AN ADOPTION HOLD

Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted.
