Fall in Minnesota is So Close – Check Out These Fun Fall Festivals

We were just talking about Festi-Fall which will be in it's third year.  It happens downtown St. Cloud on East St. Germain, as the St. Cloud Alliance is trying to bring more attention and fun to the East side of St. Cloud.  Something that it definitely needs.  There are some great businesses in that area of town.  If you are interested- there is a Festi-Fall info website through the City of St. Cloud.  

FALL FESTIVALS

Have you ever driven to Southern Minnesota to Wabasha?  The same Wabasha that was feature in both of the Grumpy Old Men movies?  You can even stop by and pick up a sweatshirt, have a drink and some food at Slippery's.  But they also have a great Fall Festival.  It's called SeptOberFest.  This year it is scheduled for September 12th and will run through October 24th.  So, lots of time to plan to take in some time in this area of Minnesota.

Enjoy artistic displays of thousands of pumpkins, cornstalks, flowers, bales, and gourds beginning the second week of September and staying until the second week of October among the natural beauty of the Winding River, Vibrant Trees and Majestic Bluffs. An explosion of color that you will remember for a lifetime.

I absolutely love going to Stillwater.  This, much like Wabasha, is such a cute storybook town.  And they go all out for their Fall festivals too.  There is the famous pumpkin regatta.  You make a boat out of a pumpkin, and then row a course on the St. Croix.  You really need a huge pumpkin for this event, obviously.

STILLWATER HARVEST FESTVAL

Besides the pumpkin regatta, there are several other things to enjoy too.  This festival is scheduled for October 10-11.  Here's a list of things to enjoy during the weekend.  More info on this link.

WYKOFF FALL FEST

This one is also in Southern Minnesota.  Wykoff is located near Rochester.  It is scheduled for this upcoming weekend, September 24-27.  There is a parade, a craft and vendor sale, some fun fundraising events, food trucks, and more!  You can check out their website for more information.

TWIN CITIES HARVEST FESTIVAL\

This festival is open all the weekends in October and also during MEA.  It's located in Brooklyn Park and has all kinds of events for the entire family.  This event is not free, however.  It's $18 per person for the day. Unfortunately this year there won't be a corn maze due to the construction, but all the other events will be happening.
