Chick-Fil-A Expands in Minnesota With 5 New Locations + 500 Jobs
Chick-Fil-A has been in the St. Cloud area for just about 10 years now. They have two drive through lanes which seem to be always full during meal times. The only issue I have heard on the negative side about the fast food restaurant is the fact that they are not open on Sundays. I don't find that to be a big deal, but some people do, apparently.
CHICK FIL A OPENING FIVE NEW LOCATIONS OVER TWO YEARS
Now, they are looking to expand with five more locations within Minnesota. These five new locations are expected to create about 500 more jobs and at least $125,000 in support to local food banks. That is amazing.
- Mankato: The first standalone restaurant in the market is expected to open this summer, marking growth in Southern Minnesota.
- Twin Cities Metro: Expansion continues with restaurants planned in Shakopee and Stillwater in late 2026, followed by Woodbury in 2028.
- Central Minnesota: A new restaurant in Baxter, slated to open in 2027, will mark the brand’s first location in the region.
If you see above, these new locations will take until 2028 until they are officially open.
CHICK FIL A HAS A COMMITTMENT TO HELPING OUT LOCAL COMMUNITIES
Anytime a Chick - Fil -A opens, they make sure that they are committed in a positive way to the community that they are in. This includes things like jobs, obviously. Also future leader development through their Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures™ Scholarships , awarding some non-profit grants to local non-profits. The local food banks, as mentioned before, if there is food left over, it is donated as meals for the needy. And also - it's great to know that they have local ownership in every city they are in.
These are just some of the things that you can feel good about when you purchase food at Chick - Fil - A. Even if they aren't open on Sundays.
