We're just about to start week 5 in the 2025 NFL season, and the Minnesota Vikings have already announced a majority of the opponents they will face in 2026. We know that the Vikings will play the other 3 NFC North teams twice, once at home and once away, but who else will they be playing in 2026?

2026 Home Opponents

Today, the Minnesota Vikings released who they would be taking on at home in 2026, and we already know they will be facing the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, and the Chicago Bears. But who else will the Vikings welcome to US Bank Stadium for the other 6 scheduled home games? Here are the teams we know will be visiting Minneapolis, so far, in 2026.

  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Miami Dolphins

The Vikings will also face two, still-to-be-named teams from the NFC East and AFC South. Those teams will be decided at the end of the season, as they will be teams that finish in the same place as the Vikings do at the end of the year.

2026 Road Opponents

On the flip side, the Vikings will be playing 8 games on the road in 2026, and three of those games will be against the other NFC North teams. Here are the other teams that the Vikings will face on the road.

  • New Orleans Saints
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • New England Patriots
  • New York Jets

The Vikings will also face a team from the NFC West, but that will also not be decided until the end of the year. The NFC West team will be the team that also finishes the season in the same place in the NFC West, as the Vikings finish in the North.

European Games?

It's unknown at this time if one of the home games for the Vikings will be in Europe this year, and we won't know until May, when the NFL usually announces the regular season schedule for each team.
