A New Kwik Trip Is Coming To Elk River This Fall

When you think every town in Minnesota has one, you find out that one more just isn't enough.

Kwik Trip, recently voted USA TODAY 10 Best, is now coming to Elk River.

Just like the rest of us who had never experienced a Kwik  Trip before, Elk River is in for quite the surprise.

Now they'll be able to bypass the grocery store on busy days to get all their grocery essentials, and even last-minute suppers, at their new location this fall.

THE SPECIAL THINGS...

They'll be able to experience the Kwik Trip Bakery, which offers so many options for sweet delights that they might just go a little bit crazy. Giant Blueberry, Lemon Poppyseed, Caramel Butterscotch, and Triple Berry are some of my favorites.

What about their famous Glazers?  A box of Kwik Trip's own brand-name glazed donuts, and if you pop one in the microwave for 10 seconds, it will melt in your mouth. Beware- you can easily eat the whole box in a matter of minutes!

And don't forget their other original products, like their milk and dairy items, including ice cream and butter. Their delicious coffees that you can buy by the bag or by the cup, and their large variety of hot food items in their hot food bar. Yes, Elk River, it's hard to beat a Kwik Trip.

LOCATION AND SIZE OF OPERATION

The new Kwik Trip store will be located near Westbound Liquor.

The new store is going to be pretty massive. There will be 20 gas pumps, a car wash, and the famous Kwik Trip 'Pop Cave.' (We all know that getting a cold pop is better when you run out!)

The site is three acres of land and was sold to Kwik Trip by the Elk River Development Authority.

OPENING PLANNED FOR FALL

When will the new Kwik Trip be open? It's expected that the store will open sometime in the fall.

NEARBY KWIK TRIP LOCATIONS

So, where is the closest Kwik Trip to the Elk River location?

There are several Kwik Trips within reach of the Elk River location. There is one at 16401 72nd Street NE in Otsego, and also one located in Princeton at 707 Northland Drive, which is a 24-hour location with a car wash, diesel fuel, and showers.
