Buffets Are Making A Comeback In MN, Are You Excited?
It's been roughly 6 years since we've seen big buffet options for dining. The disappearance of buffets wasn't just a pandemic problem; for years, buffets had seen a decline in diners with other options, and food costs had been lower. Now with higher costs coming back, it seems the big buffet is on the way back. It was announced this week that two Minnesota casinos were bringing their buffets back, leading to some excitement from Minnesotans.
Two Big Buffet Options Are Coming To Central Minnesota
If you live in Central Minnesota, you've got some good news, as there will soon be two big buffet options for you to choose from. Grand Casino Hinckley and Grand Casino Mille Lacs have announced that they will be bringing back the buffet on weekends starting in April.
The details on the offerings at Hinckley are for just Friday and Saturdays, from 3-9pm, where guests will have the ability to eat from the Classic Buffet. There weren't any more details on what that will mean for food options, but if you are looking for a deal on dinner, this is a good option.
Grand Casino Mille Lacs has also shared what they will be offering on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
On Fridays, guests to Grand Casino Mille Lacs will be offered a Seafood Buffet, which includes crab, starting at 4pm. Saturday's guests will be offered a Prime Rib buffet starting at 11am. Sunday has a brunch buffet that starts at 10am.

Other Minnesota Buffet Options
There is just one Golden Corral left, and this is in Maplewood. There are other buffet options for you to choose from, including: Coyote Moon, China Star Buffet, JJ Garden, Pizza Ranch, Kay's Kitchen, Lost Times Tavern, HuHot, Green Mill, Copper Kitchen, Legends, and others. You can get a full list of area restaurants that are buffets or offer buffet options here.
