This is sweet news just ahead of Valentine's Day - if you're reading this right now, there's a good chance you are in one of the best states for singles. That's good news, right?

Of course, there are so many studies being released on any given day, so you have to take them all with a grain of salt. This is one I can definitely get behind though because I am a hopeless romantic.

WalletHub released a list of the best and worst states for singles this year, with the holiday of love just a few days away. They released this list on Tuesday (February 10th) and singles everywhere can definitely celebrate.

Whether you're single or happily in love, this is something we can all root for. This makes me want to watch a rom-com immediately.

How WalletHub Crafted Their List Of Best & Worst States For Singles

WalletHub always looks at a bunch of factors to make their lists and this one is no different, looking at things like how many singles there are in each state, online and mobile dating opportunities and how many restaurants there are per capita.

They also looked at movie theaters per capita, along with the crime rate in each state. They also took median household annual income into account, adjusted for the cost of living. The list of the best and worst states for singles was then crafted with the results.

Minnesota & Wisconsin Named Among Best States For Singles

Way to go! Both Minnesota and Wisconsin cracked the top ten, being named the best states for singles. Minnesota came in at number ten and Wisconsin did even better, coming in at number six on this list.

Minnesota has the third most mobile-dating opportunities, while Wisconsin came in at number three in terms of the gender balance between singles. Of course, there were many factors that played into us doing so well but these are just a few notable ones.
