There are few movie scores more recognizable than John Williams' classic Indiana Jones. Williams composed many soundtracks for various films over the years. Did you know that John Williams has more Oscar nominations than anyone else for his original music? The Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra will be performing the soundtrack of Raiders of the Lost Ark, accompanying the movie on the big screen.

The performances are two days only: April 11 and April 12 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center Symphony Hall. Not only do you get to watch the classic 1981 George Lucas and Steven Spielberg film, but you also get to experience the full orchestra's live performance. It's like nothing you've ever seen before.

This is also a great way to introduce children to the classic movie while instilling an appreciation for the arts. Raiders of the Lost Ark is set in the 1930s and follows archaeologist Indiana Jones and his search for the Lost Ark of the Covenant. Legend says that any army carrying the Lost Ark in battle cannot be defeated. Jones is in a race to find the Lost Ark before Hitler's Nazis do. It's a highly rewatchable movie, but I bet you've never heard the soundtrack live before.
