The message from the Hermantown Police Department is clear. If you are impaired and behind the wheel, you will be arrested. That's the situation that developed on Wednesday morning at a Hermantown gas station. Some people noticed two individuals "passed out" in a running vehicle.

They called the police, and when they arrived around 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 11th, officers could clearly see drug paraphernalia on the driver's lap. Officers were safely able to wake up the occupants and check on them. The driver spoke with officers and showed clear signs of impairment.
