Winter Weather Delays ‘Hadestown’ At DECC Symphony Hall
This is a bummer but that's just show business for you: a show set to take place on Monday night (March 16th) has been postponed until later this year. The news was shared early Monday morning.
We are all too familiar with winter weather throwing a wrench in plans and that's exactly what happened here. It's a huge bummer but of course, safety always comes first.

In fact, comedian Jeff Foxworthy was supposed to be in Minnesota for a show on Friday night (March 13th) and had to postpone because of the winter weather. Not only did we get snow statewide late last week, but we also saw a huge storm over the weekend, making it all tricky.
While a bummer, we all understand when these things happen. Now, it's happening again with the Hadestown show originally set to take place tonight in Duluth.
'Hadestown' Musical Set For Monday Postponed Due To Weather
The musical was supposed to take place at DECC Symphony Hall tonight but unfortunately, the show will now take place later this year. The show has been postponed until Monday, October 19th.

All purchased tickets will be valid for the new date and you do not need to take further action. If you have any further questions regarding your tickets, reach out to the DECC and they will be able to help you with any questions you may have.
Hadestown is an award-winning musical from Broadway. I love that we get Broadway shows here in Duluth. The DECC did apologize for the inconvenience since so many people were excited for this but as mentioned, we are all used to the weather throwing a wrench in things and nobody is at fault except for Mother Nature.
