Pressure Cooker Sold At ALDI Recalled After Multiple Burn Injuries
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling electric pressure cookers that were sold at ALDI locations. The pressure cookers pose a serious burn hazard, and multiple injuries have been reported.
Tempo USA recalls Ambiano Pressure Cookers
The Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers are the product being recalled. The pressure-cooker lid can be opened before sufficient steam pressure has been released, causing hot contents to escape and burn consumers.
You should immediately stop using the recalled pressure cookers and contact either Tempo USA or ALDI for a full refund. Consumers can return the fully intact pressure cooker to any ALDI location for a full refund.

Affected Pressure Cookers
All Ambiano electric pressure cookers with model numbers 93550 (KY318B), 96775 (KY-318A), and 98527 (6L-PC). They were sold at ALDI retail stores nationwide between January 2016 and December 2019.
About 46,000 units were sold. The recall was issued 9 years after the first units were sold. It's a serious enough recall with injuries reported that ALDI has put up the recall notice throughout their store locations.
You can read more about the recall directly from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
