It's a miracle, the I-35 construction project near Faribault is finally done!

MNDOT sent out a news release today saying that the $8 million project is finally over, no more single lanes!

The project was done by crews from Shafer Contracting Co., Inc. and they paved about 4 miles of southbound I-35 "with an unbonded concrete overlay." They also "repaved the Highway 21 exit ramp, extended the deceleration land off southbound I-35 to Highway 21 and repaired several culverts along I-35."

It's great that all of this was done, it seems like it was really needed, but also I'm not super interested in what was done, right now I'm more interested in the fact that there's no more construction!
