The Minnesota Department of Transportation told KDHL News that there is water on the roadway of Highway 60 at the entrance to Wabasha. The road is a low lying area that crosses under a railroad bridge to the east of the intersection of highway 60 and highway 61 on the west edge of Wabasha. MnDot is monitoring the road and has placed signs warning drivers of the water.

If the water levels rise, MnDOT expects to temporarily close the road to ensure safety. Motorists should plan accordingly. When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area.
