When it comes to spring sports in Minnesota, odds are good the track and field season will begin on time. Thanks to indoor facilities, most area high school teams schedule a meet in a climate-controlled location before braving the uncertain outdoor weather. That leads to this edition of the H & R Block Stat Sheet Stuffer, which features the NRHEG and Triton track teams.

New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva senior Brady Agrimson and junior Lonnie Wilson each had a pair of first-place finishes at the Gopher Conference indoor meet at Minnesota State University-Mankato. Agrimson won the 55 and 60 meter hurdle events. In a related note, Agrimson recently committed to play football at Division III UW-River Falls. He'll join his Panther teammate Jacob Schuller with the Falcons as well as Owatonna's Joseph Stransky and Blooming Prairie's Tim Wolf.

Wilson won the 200 and 400 meter dashes and was second in the 60 as the Panthers ran away with the team title at MSU. NRHEG is the defending Gopher Conference champ from 2018, winning the track title for the first time in many years.

Triton's track team recently ran at St. Mary's in Winona. The sprint medley relay team of Kendra Petersohn, Cambryn Rubin, Nell Graham and Brenna Essig set a school record.

Another recent winner of the H & R Block Stat Sheet Stuffer award is Owatonna High School graduate Brady Schuster. He is playing baseball for Bethany Lutheran in Mankato. In his first college game, Schuster went 3-for-4 with a triple and 2 runs batted in with the Vikings playing in Tuscon, AZ. Schuster had several other multi-hit games during the trip south.
