Goodhue Ready for Ada-Borup
The number one rated Goodhue Wildcats got a very tough opponent the first round of the Class A State Girls Basketball Tournament thanks to being seeded by the tourney coaches 4th. Ada-Borup is the defending runnerup and has a very athletic team. Defending champion Minneota got the top seed, Maranatha Christian Academy of Brooklyn Park was seeded number two and Mountain Iron-Buhl third in the tourney which begins Thursday at Mariucci Arena on the University of Minnesota campus. The Wildcats game will be on KDHL Radio...920am with a 12:45pm start if it's on time. Previous to the Goodhue game, Minneota plays Browerville at 11 a.m. After the Goodhue contest Section 2 Champion and former Gopher Conference team Mankato Loyola faces second seeded Maranatha Christian and the Class A Quarterfinals action concludes at 5pm with third seed Mountain Iron-Buhl facing Win-E-Mac
