The Goodhue County Fair runs Tuesday through Sunday in Zumbrota with something for everyone in the family.  KDHL Radio will be broadcasting AM Minnesota at 9:30am each morning Tuesday through Friday thanks to the Security State Bank of Kenyon and the News Record and Zumbro Shopper to lay out the itinerary for each day's activities and new this year we'll be enjoying Breakfast At The Fair Wednesday through Saturday.  I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday and Jerry will stop by Friday and Saturday.  Stop by and join us at the Goodhue County Pork Producers building for a delicious breakfast and some lively discussion.  Our breakfast broadcasts will take place between 7 to 9am each day.  The Goodhue County 4-H program is the third largest in the state so the fair is a reflection of the County's rural roots, but still offers a variety of entertainment for rural and urban dwellers alike.  Grandstand shows include free Lawn Mower Derby 7pm Tuesday, one of the best Demolition Derbies Wednesday night at 7, Thursday a Tractor and Truck Pull at 6:30pm, Friday Lost Highway rocks the night away at 8pm, Saturday there's another great Demo Derby at 6pm and Sunday the Fair grandstand events wrap up with another free show, Dairyland Donkey baseball at noon followed by Mutton Bustin at 1:30pm.  Tuesday is Entry Day, Wednesday Day Care Day, Thursday Family Day, Friday Senior Citizen Day, Saturday Kid's Day and Sunday Family Fun Day.  The terrific Merriam's Midway Carnival is open 6-10pm Tuesday, 1-11pm Wednesday through Saturday and 1-6pm Sunday.  We hope to see you at this year's Goodhue County Fair.
