Fall is a great time to get outdoors and make some fun memories with your families that are sure to last forever. The temperatures are a bit cooler, the sun sets earlier and the trees are bursting with color. If you're searching for fun things to do with your family, I've rounded up a few ideas for you!

  • Attend an outdoor movie. If you can't make it to a drive-in, you could also create your own and project a favorite film onto your garage.
  • Go on a hay ride.
  • Sent up a tent and do some backyard camping. Cool night air will have you appreciating your blankets.
  • Built a fort.
  • DIY a Halloween costume. Sometimes the homemade costumes are a thousand times better than anything you could purchase and you get the memories of making it together, plus the fun of showing it off on Halloween.
  • Pull out the bikes and go for a cruise down the trails.
  • Rake the yard, but only so you can go running through the piles of leaves.
  • Spend a day getting lost in a corn maze.
  • Carve a pumpkin. Pick a fancy design, go with a basic jack-o-lantern, or make it a contest, but it's always fun. Extra points if you pick out your pumpkins at a pumpkin patch.
  • Roast marshmallows and make s'mores.
  • Attend a football game and cheer for the home team!
  • Now that it's not as hot out and the crowds probably are not as big check out a local zoo.
  • Make crafts with fallen leaves or pine cones.
  • Pick a book (or several) to read.
  • Create a scavenger hunt.
  • Get creative and have fun!
