He was named at 71 on the list of 100-Best Minnesota Power Forwards by Minnesota Hoops, he played for the Gophers in the 1980s then it was on to the NFL and the Minnesota Vikings. Former Faribault Falcon Mark Dusbabek was back in Minnesota over the weekend at the 3M golf tournament in Blaine. He was back though as a PGA rules official, something he's done according to the PGA Tour since 2006. 

Dusbabek blew out his knee the first game of the 1991 season, after being drafted by the Oilers in 1987, that resulted in him going down the path to Southern California, and becoming involved with the game of golf according to a PGA Tour article written about 'Dus' before the 3M event began last week.

Believe it or not, Mark isn't the only Dusbabek involved with the PGA or the event that just took place this weekend. Mark's sister Teresa Bergs, 3M Open’s director of sales and marketing.

According to the PGRA page for Dusbabek, some of his career highlights of being a PGA rules official were working at The Masters and the U.S. Open. He was also a referee for The President’s Cup and a referee for World Match Play.
