Town nicknames. Some roll off the tongue easily and make a ton of sense, others not so much. Here in Minnesota, there are a few different cities and towns that have great nicknames that really fit the town, the prime example in Southeast Minnesota is Preston. The Trout Capital of Minnesota.

Home to the National Trout Center, a huge Trout Statue, and of course Trout Days, the city of Preston has proven to be the Trout Capital of Minnesota. Not to mention the Root River flows right through town.
